Ms. Alison Ross
First/Second grade

Hello, and welcome to St. John's Lutheran school! My name is Alison Ross. I found my passion for teaching while filling the role of substitute teacher while pursuing my Bachelors degree. This is my second year in the teacher role, last year I taught learning disabilities, and this will be my first year teaching the first and second grade class at St. John's.
I was born in Hannibal but raised in the Columbia/Boonville area. I moved back to Hannibal 9 years ago with my wonderful daughter, Payton. I graduated from MACC-Hannibal with my Associates and then transferred to the University of Missouri-Columbia and completed my Bachelors remotely in 2023.
My daughter and I both like to produce art and music together and I enjoy teaching these as well. We are members of Immanuel Baptist Church where I have coached Cheerleading in the Upwards program for the past three years and am looking forward to it this fall. With the wonderful opportunity from God and the amazing St. John's Staff, I am thrilled to start this school year with St. John's.
